Nothing seems right about this. A quick scan of the Androids internal files show signs of data corruption and remote access. The data log provides timestamps as early as four months ago, with the this activity ceasing a few minutes ago, at which point the Android was able to reconfigure it's programming only to die moments after. Staring at the lifeless machine, you can't help but question your own mortality and the futility of it all. Unlike this machine, for you, death is permanent. Your memories will not be saved and applied to another version of yourself. They will instead slowly fade away, becoming a haze of ideas once shared by you and those you've interacted with, until those people too cease to exist. The memories themselves still existing, but no longer reachable. They may as well have never happened. 

And yet, this machine, much like you, was designed to be easily disposable and replaceable - a perfect cog for an imperfect machine. Despite its purpose, it spent its time doing what it could to pass the time, until it was time to go. At least you can find solace in that.
